Position Overview:
As a Tow Truck Driver at Waffco, you will be responsible for providing exceptional towing and roadside assistance services to our customers. Your primary duties will include safely operating tow trucks, responding to service calls, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate tow trucks and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and scheduled tows.
Load, transport and unload vehicles with care.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for each service call.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a tow truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of vehicle towing and recovery techniques.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly.
Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
